Congratulations to Voyager!
A press release from NASA today has announced ‘NASA's Voyager 1 spacecraft officially is the first human-made object to venture into interstellar space. The 36-year-old probe is about 12 billion miles (19 billion kilometers) from our sun.’
NASA scientists think it entered interstellar space in August 2012. So congratulations to our Spaceship-of-Honour on this truly spectacular achievement. We look forward to following your adventures as you push humanity’s presence beyond the solar system.

Additional rooms available at the Campanile
The initial allocation of rooms at the Campanile Hotel have all now been booked, however they have agreed to give us a further 20 double bedrooms. These are now available for members to book.
If you haven't booked a room yet, there are still some rooms available at the Crowne Plaza itself, and the Hilton Garden Inn, which is the other on-site overflow hotel
For those who would prefer to stay closer to the city centre the Marriott is a short car/taxi journey away and includes access to their swimming pool & leisure centre, the Marriott still has family and
accessible rooms available.
