Beginnings and Endings

The convention will officially begin at 2:00 pm on Friday afternoon with the Opening Ceremony, incorporating a welcome from the Lord Provost of Glasgow, followed by a Civic Reception hosted by the City. This will coincide with the official opening and first viewing of the Art Show. We shall not be running programme in the morning, although members are welcome to come and help with set-up. Registration - and the bar - should be open from around 10 am.

On Monday we intend to run programme until 5:00 pm, when we will have the official Closing Ceremony. Satellite conventions’ traditional Dead Laika* Party will take place in the evening, for those still standing.
